The StoryWalk in La Vernia was installed March 2022 by volunteers Sora Garcia, Mychael Garcia, Nicki, Samuel Swan, and  Brooke Locker.

Brooke and Samuel are members of the Wilson County 4H Archery Club. 

Myckael is a member of the Wilson County 4H Shootibg Club.

Stockdale Central Park 901 Jackson St, Stockdale, TX 78160

The StoryWalk in Stockdale was installed June 2022 by the City of Stockdale.

The first book was put in by volunteers Brooke & Megan  Locker.

Brooke is a  member of the Wilson County 4H Archery Club.

The StoryWalk in Floresville was installed March 2023 by the San Antonio River Authority (SARA).

The first book was put in by volunteers Brooke & Megan  Locker.

Brooke is a  member of the Wilson County 4H Archery Club.

The StoryWalk in Poth was installed May 2023 by the City of Poth.

The first book was put in by Wilson County Public Libraries.

*StoryWalk® is an interactive way to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. A picture book is installed along a walking path and as you walk the trail you can read the story. The StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and has developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, formerly of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. This program (the LV StoryWalk) is made possible with funding from Humanities Texas and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the federal ARP Act.
